Logo and print media designed for the Los Angeles No Budget Film Festival.

A project to reinvent the No Budget Film Festival and make a logo, posters, tickets, and brochures for the event. The project was entirely conceptually driven, and hinged on the idea that a no budget project would literally have no budget.

 

The design process started with the concept of what no budget actually means and what its real life repercussions were. Some objects were chosen to represent the festival's lack of budget: a red spray can, and a cell phone. The red spray can being the red carpet, and the cell phone serving as the camera.
